Absolut X and Twin Shadow

Klip Collective had the honor of collaborating with Twin Shadow and cocktail master Tim Heuisler for the Absolut X Philly Masquerade at the Electric Factory on August 16th. Klip conceived the immersive visual experience in celebration of vintage video art feedback techniques, inviting concert-goers to dance in front of a projected, motion-responsive backdrop. The captured images were then manipulated with a mash-up of trippy elements and live broadcast across the venue onto an oversized projection sculpture of salvaged CRT monitors with bright LEDs. And of course, Twin Shadow gave an explosive live set, with Klip helming the visuals, giving the crowd a multi-dimensional display of textures and colors - and plenty of confetti.
