Mural Remix: MOMO
In collaboration with the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, this new MOMO mural was brought to life with the artwork of local and regional digital artists using projection mapping. Klip Collective lead the re-imagination and production of this street-level art and community experiment as a part of Mural Arts’ month-long Open Source outdoor exhibition in 2015. Starting with a photograph of the mural, Klip created a digital template and a set of rules for content creation, and distributed them to other digital artists. These digital artists were not only given the freedom to explore their art in a new medium, but gained access to the inner workings of content production for projection mapping. True to the meaning of Open Source, Klip invites digital artists to develop their craft with these free tools. Digital Animation/Video Projections 2015 My Role: Animator Video Edited by Thomas Roland
